Measure the Space
Before you decide, use painter's tape to mark the size of the rug you like on the floor. This will give you a realistic idea of how it will look in your room and help you visualize the best way to arrange your furniture. It's the best way to make sure the rug fits perfectly!
Choose the Size
Large Rugs: Think of a large rug as the anchor of your room. The bigger the rug, the grander the room will feel.

Center Your Rug
Para ampliar una sala pequeña, usa una alfombra del ancho del sofá (150×240 cm o 180×270 cm) y coloca los muebles alrededor.
Half and half
En salas medianas, apoya solo las patas delanteras sobre la alfombra (180×270 cm o 240×300 cm) dejando unos 20 cm por lado.
Furniture in the rug
En salas grandes, coloca todos los muebles sobre la alfombra (240×300 cm a 360×450 cm) dejando unos 15 cm de margen alrededor.
Square or round dinning table
Para 4–8 personas, usa alfombra 240×240 cm o 240×300 cm para un marco elegante.
Large rectangular dinning table
Para 8–10 personas, ideal 270×360 cm, que enmarca y da presencia a la mesa.
Small or medium rectangular dinning table
Para 6–8 personas o mesas de 150 cm, usa 180×270 cm para un efecto sofisticado.
Large bedroom
Cama king: alfombra 270×360 cm o 360×450 cm, dejando espacio a los lados y suavizando el ambiente.
Medium bedroom
Cama queen: 180×270 cm o 270×360 cm, permite colocar un banco al pie y resalta el tapete.
Small bedroom
Cama individual: 120×180 cm o 150×240 cm, sobresaliendo 90–120 cm para apoyar los pies cómodamente.
